Delicious and easy chocolate souffle

Chocolate soufflé is one of my favorite desserts, no doubt about this. I love those molten bites full of taste when I drink my coffee, and until now I had difficult times to bake the right one... but, one friend of me gave me this wonderful and easy recipe!

So here is the recipe, enjoy it.
Ingredients for 6-8 servings

  • 250g Couverture chocolate 70%
  • 250g Butter (unsalted)
  • 6 Eggs
  • 2/3 Cups sugar
  • 1 Cup all-purpose flour (or Bread flour if you like more strong taste)
  • A pinch of salt
  • Extra for the dressing
  • 100g White chocolate
  • 1/2 Sour cream


a) On a bain-marie add the couverture (in a small pieces) the butter and the salt, stir occasionally until melt smoothly.

b) Beat the 6 eggs with the sugar in a mixer about 2-3 minutes.

b.2) Add slowly the chocolate/butter until unite smoothly with the eggs and sugar.

b.3) Add slowly the flour (sifted) and continue stirring until you have a smooth dough mass.

c) Preheat the oven in 380°F / 200°C, rub eight ramekins with butter, fill the chocolate dough on ramekins.

d) Bake the chocolate soufflé for 6-8 minutes, serve immediately with powdered sugar or ice cream or add our dressing.

For the dressing

In a small pot boil the sour cream before it reaches boil, remove the pot from the oven and add the white chocolate, stir until melt smoothly.

A tip for extra taste: Add a spoon of whisky or cognac in step b.2
